Jorge Ricardo participates for the second time in the UAE President Cup in São Paulo
The Prêmio UAE President Cup Series for Colts and Fillies, eighth and ninth races of the UAE President Cup Arabian Purebred Classic Series – South America Mondial Brazil, will be held on Saturday, August 28th, at Hippodrome of Cidade Jardim, located at the Jockey Club de São Paulo (JCSP) and organized by the Brazilian Arabian Horse Breeders Association (ABCCA). Seven colts and eight fillies will participate in the races disputed on 1,100 m on dirt, for 3-years-old and more without victory, all from different owners, showing, once again, the rise of the races among Arabian horse lovers in Brazil. In the colt race, four competed in the race held on August 7th: Vince Rach who finished third, Mandato Rach, Veneraddo Rach and Mighty Thor Rach. In the Fillies race, we will have for the second time the participation of Jorge Ricardo, world record holder for race victories, who will ride Blueks Rach in search of another victory to add to the more than 13,100 victories. In his first race riding Arabian horse, on July 10th, Jorge Ricardo masterfully led Obstinado Rach to the victory of the Prêmio UAE President Cup Series For Colts III. Almir Ribeiro, Racing Director of Brazilian Arabian Horse Breeders Association (ABCCA) said: “This Saturday we will organize the fifth race of this series for the Fillies (8 participants) and Colts (7 participants) in search of their first victory at the Hippodrome of Cidade Jardim. In addition, we will once again have seven different owners for the colts’ race and eight for the fillies’ race, which proves the interest of new owners in having an Arabian horse racing under their silks.
