Following declarations, the Arabian Racing Organisation (ARO) was delighted to publish a full field of 13 runners for the Handicap (0-75) Stakes. The 1m1.5f contest will be the opening race on the card at Wolverhampton on Monday September 14 starting at 3.40pm.

He runs in the colours of HH Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum, who has a further four runners, two of which are trained by Phil Collington. Leicestershire based handler Peter Hammersley sends three horses, all for different owners, including his homebred colt Al-Taba.

The Wathba Stallions Cup series supports grassroots Arabian racing as part of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival and is a popular addition to the programme worldwide.
Genny Haynes, ARO Commercial and Finance Director said: “ARO is extremely grateful for the continued support of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival, who held their first Wathba-supported race with us in 2011. We also thank the British Horseracing Authority and Wolverhampton racecourse for the support and assistance in enabling our racing to go ahead during these challenging times.”
