Butheeb in Al Khatim, Abu Dhabi, is a magnificent desert location in a calm and quiet atmosphere amongst amazing dunes and landscape, away from Abu Dhabi city center.
Under the guidance and support of His Highness the late Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Butheeb International Endurance Village (BIEV) was established and has been actively organizing national and FEI endurance rides since 2004. The BIEV has adopted, since 201 5, the Butheeb Endurance Protocol Initiative, as His Highness considered that a successful sport must be based on good and fair rules and to reinforce the relationship between the Rider and the Horse. |
